In their first season as a merged team, your Harpursville Hornets have become 5 time MAC Champions.  Comprised of a mix of superb athletes from both Afton and Harpursville, the varsity squad was able to play the regular season with a record of 11-0 in the league and scored 2 big tournament wins.  They faced UV in the MAC semi-finals and went on to defend their title against BG for the Championship.

The girls have worked very hard to get to this level and I am proud of them.  We hope to continue to play well as we advance through sectional play.  They are peaking at the right time and I couldn’t be more pleased.  They are an awesome group of athletes and it was a well-deserved win stemming from some hard training and perseverance.

The girls were on top of their game and played at a level becoming of champions.   They have their sights set high this season and are working hard to obtain their goal.  Come out and support your team as they head into the MAC Championships and Sectionals once again!
