September 28th marked the finest showing our lady hornets have had since we began attending the Johnson City Invitational years ago. The varsity hornets showed their quality as they split matches with volleyball titans Vestal, Mercyhurst Prep, and Trumansburg. They continued their run deep into the silver bracket to bring home 2nd place losing only in the finals to a much larger Homer team.
Our lady hornets currently hold a record of 9-0 and hope to continue this streak deep into sectional play. I am very proud of our athletes. They played with passion, skill, and showed considerable endurance throughout the tournament. I could not ask for a better group of young athletes to coach.
